The following are quotes I have collected from popes and saints who have said about the value of Eucharistic Adoration. At this moment, as our Pope Benedict XVI and the Catholic Church are under relentless attacks, we as Catholics should realize the practice of Eucharistic Adoration can help our Pope tremendously who is experiencing a terrible onslaught perpetrated by some who simply hate the Catholic Church. Let us respond to his request for prayer: “Pray for me, that I may not flee for fear of the wolves.” His is a burden he cannot bear alone. Let us respond to his request for prayer by turning our focus on the Lord Jesus. He is the source of all healing. There is no problem He cannot solve, no sins He cannot forgive, no illness of mind, soul, or body He cannot heal. He is bigger than all our problems, whether they be the devilish storms among nations, the ominous cyclones that threaten to destroy our Church, or the threatening hurricanes within our communities, families, or our personal problems we do not know how to solve. He once said, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father. And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven.
